Water is one of the most important necessities for all creatures living on Earth. It consists of 70% of the entire surface of the Earth and 60% of the human body. Water is the continuation of our lives here on Earth, yet we take it for granted. It’s become a daily routine for some of us, wasting the one thing keeping us alive. Faucets that drip can annually waste up to 2800 gallons of water. Some people around the world exist on 3 or less gallons a day, while we, the people of Canada, can use at least 3 gallons of water by the flush of one toilet. 783 million people on Earth do not have access to clean water and so it is up to us to make a change, help other people gain access to clean water and to appreciate the fortunate things that we have, here in Canada.
